Indoor Equipment
Our range of indoor switchboards can be supplied in a range of ratings from 400A through to 6300A. All forms of separation can be accommodated according to customers requirements and the application which the equipment is to be used in. We can offer all forms of separation in accordance with BS EN 60439 – 1. We have the flexibility to offer equipment that contains either fuse switch or circuit breaker equipment or even a combination of the two types. We understand that every site requirement is different and every customer has their own preferences.
Metering can be incorporated in incoming supplies form a simple Voltmeter and Ammeter to a multifunction power meter. Outgoing ways can be fitted with various metering options to comply with L2 building regulations or to assist with Climate Change Levy moitoring.
BMS systems are being used increasing more often. To enable our switchboards to integrate with these systems we can offer metering and devices to provide information to these systems. This information can range from a simple pulsed output or status contact through to a full communication link.
One thing that we are always asked is ‘can we get a switchboard into a certain space?’ As we design and manufacture our own panels it is usually possible for us to be flexible enough to come up with a solution. In the past we have produced various options including L shaped switchboards and U shaped switchboards. We have even produced switchboards that coupled directly to BS ONAN transformers thus saving the customer on transformer – switchboard cabling.
